WELDMENT DESIGN AND ENGINEERING
SBD works closely with senior welding engineers and routinely designs weldments for structural applications. After over 20 years of design and development work in Atlantic Canada, we have a wide range of shops, both CSA W47.1 certified shops and non-certified, that help us provide solutions to customers. Our partnerships with the fabrication shops means we can take your project from start to finish. This process generally includes on-site measurements, CAD model creation, drawing preparation and review and finally the fabrication. SBD works closely thoughout these stages witht he manufacturer and local suppliers to ensure all material is readily available, the shop can commit to timelines and required processes etc. We are well-versed in handling structural steel and aluminum projects from sketch to site-delivered, coated weldments/components.
